Cant say im looking forward to this one today. Been suffering with Dupuytrens for a little while now but as its my laft hand (and im a left hooker) it needs to be done before it gets too bad.

Get it done!

My grandmother had 1 done 30 years ago when she was 72 and that hand is still fine.
Then grandfather got ill and she put off doing the other for 2-3 years.
When they finally came to do it, the only option was to amputate the finger....

She's 102 years old?
Thought mine was doing well at 93.

Yes!

Although we sold her home and put her and her husband (who was older) into a home 6 years ago.

Mines struggling.
Luckily we only live down the road.
She keeps falling, she has the Careline thing, this informs us if she presses the button.
She fell on Monday, had to call Paramedics as couldn't get her off the floor and hurt her shoulder.
Careline says to wait for the Ambulance services if this happens...she will have to go in home at some point, she knows that.

Had that done on 3 fingers last year which was unpleasant but it worked. As it happens, I have been cancelled so back to work tomorrow ans await a new appointment.

My dad and FiL have both had it done in the last year or so and they both recovered very quickly and have use of their hands again.

Good luck fella

I've had it done on both hands and would recommend it in a second. Quick recovery and my surgeon made the incision on the ridges on both hands so there is no visible scar!
