Powder coating of suspension and alloy wheels still to do, Bilstein springs, new shocks and bushes.
And, it's getting to the interior time, can anyone recommend a trimmer to sort out the seats?! - See earlier in the post for photos...

Where did you get your seats recovered?
Mine is heading back to Chester soon .. Interior will be the last thing to get done.

The coach trimmers I used are just outside Nantwich Tel 01270 842123, http://www.jbhupholstery.co.uk
Did all the seats for £500, I had to get the material from Martrim at Sandbach £60.
They did a good job, I've still got some cloth left not enough for all seats but you could have a sample to compare.

Hi,
Would be very interested in having a sample sent to me, as we are doing the work on this car, would be good to compare your cloth with the existing seat material.

I will of course, pay for postage.

Please PM me, or ring me on 01179 869997 daytime.
Many thanks
Martin

Thanks for sending the material down to Martin, very much appreciated! A trimmer down in Bristol has quoted £1200. Just waiting to hear from them to understand the quote a bit more but its a long way from the £500 that you've quoted.

Did you replace the vinyl as well when you had them covered?

No they reused the vinyl, just dropped the seats & material of with them & picked them up a week later, total £560.

Thanks, I have just sent them a photo of your seats to remind them what needs to be done, maybe it will be cheaper this time because they already know what to do!!!

We should try and get a photo of the two plums together at some stage!!
