Finally carried out the few visual changes I've been wanting to do for ages.

Spoiler cost £29 on eBay & the front grill painting was inspired by member 'D7FF M'

Thanks philg, its called midnight blue. It needs a bit of a claybar for summer, but it comes up really nice after a wash and polish!

First post so bare with me.
Model
2008 Saab 9-3 vector sport saloon 1.8t in carbon grey with cream leather/black cloth inserts.

Appearance
Not much much, just a few minor changes. 5 spoke 18 inch wheels from 9-3 v6. Twin exhaust rear decor to accommodate my 2.5 inch cat back. Finally just sitting slightly lower on maptun springs.

Handling
Just the wider tyres, 235/40 18 and the maptun springs. Hopefully a set of bilstein b6's in the future.

Brakes
Uprated ebc red stuff rear pads on standard discs. Going for the 345mm turbo x front set-up with ebc pads.

Engine/Exhaust
K&N panel filter with standard air box, just drilled holes in the bottom to give better flow and a sweet sound on spool up. Upgraded td04 hl14t aero turbo charger. Custom 2.5 inch cat back exhaust with twin outlets, hopefully a 3 inch downpipe with race cat courtesy of Albert 666 as soon as I have enough posts. Finally a maptun aero stage 1 remap to 250bhp.

Thanks for anyone that takes the time to read and reply. Hopefully become an active member of this forum in the future.

As she was when I got her, Image
She had greuy cloth interior with standard wooden dash and some decent mods like
Posh pfs intercooler, 3 inch dp, forge dump valve, 200 cell sports cat, and most of the hoses were silicone,
The brakes were standard and terrible as were the wheels which is a shocking condition after only a month. And I had a really noisy misshapen tyre and knackered bearings too.
How she is now. ImageImage
Painted in satin black all the front lights apart from the headlights are led based, the interior is full black electric heated leather, the stereo is all pioneerand jbl based, the dash is carbon, there's a decent boost gauge fitted.
All the hoses are silicone the air filter has a proper heatshied and the complete exhaust is stainless 2 and 3 quarter inch from front to back. The wheels have been replaced and painted in neon green. Its been lowered 35 millimetres and the brakes are 330 mm brembo discs and pads, the headlights have been slightly tinted to match the windows.
i have had to replace the clutch as the stage 3 map I did after swapping to a t7 bcv killed the old one. Next up is a td04, injectors, fuel pump 3 bar map sensor and hopefully over 300 bhp.

Just a quick one today, hated the hand brake brushes on my OG 9-3, found a gaiter in leather with frame from a 9-5 , end result wasn't what was planned but after an hour of adjustments it finally sat nice, nice straight forward swap Image
