Car Model: 93 vector sport tid
Hi all.
I'm a new Saab owner ( at last), and have recently purchased the 93 vector sport TID 148 BHP -2006 model.
So my question is... are there any safe recommended remap's available for this model? As I have seen a few on various sites, but I do not want the risk of damaging my pride and joy. The aid is for slight performance and improvement of fuel economy. My boy racer days are now over, so I don't need a drag racer... :o
Thanks in advance - Nick ( from Kent)

I understand that some people have used Celtic Tuning for diesels but I'm afraid I don't know much more than that.

I'd have suggested Angel but they are a long way from Kent (in Banbury).

I might be able to help you here.
There's a chap over on Vec-c.com who does slot of the member remaps, he has being doing them for years and has a solid rep. He's coming down to Thurrock on Sunday for their SE meet and will be doing remaps, including my 9-3 if I can get the MOT work done.
He remapped my Signum (120bhp) to 165 with improved economy.
The cost is £130.

I had mine done by Mobile Remaps (Ricky Tough) http://www.mobile-remaps.co.uk/dpf-removal.html - As i understood he used Quantum Tuning software. He was based in Herne Bay, but now in Canterbury i believe.

As you're "doon sooth", I could strongly recommend Nordic, their stage 2 for the tid is better than most places offer, and removes the future issues of the DPFs etc.

Think he is now a member on this forum as Teapots. Can vouch for him, he did my 9-5 TiD and I'm very pleased with the results.
