The Scottish SAAB enthusiasts group has arranged for a SAAB parade to raise funds for a wee boy called Mackenzie who is at present in hospital with meningitis.

From the response of that groups members it has been decided to have a fund raising event for him and this will be held at Knockhill Circuit on Saturday 5th November 2016.
This is a day when a full day of drifting and other entertainment will be available.
We are meeting with the management on 4th October to see what more they can do - they have already agreed that any charges / donations to drive on the circuit NOT racing - will be collected for Mackenzie.
Many families have been affected through this disease either directly or indirectly and that is why I am asking you for your support.
Further information will be posted here as arrangements are made.

Please join with us in raising as much as we can to support him and his family.

In August this year the group raised almost £1000 for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance which is based in Scone Airport, near Perth.

Further information is also on the groups Facebook page but please do not repost as I do not have the moderator's approval.
Thank you.

An update on the event.
Almost £1600 was raised for Wee McKenzie. He is making progress but will be in hospital for at least the next year.
Those who attended had a great time. Don't you wish you had been one of them?
SSE will be continuing to raise funds from time to time and would really like more members of the SAAB family to there to show the range of people, cars and styles of both (young and not so young) who just love these great cars.
SSE is a closed FB group - if you are not already on this group just ask and your wish will be granted (well it is almost panto season!)
Thank you.
