For purely financial reasons I have to seriously consider letting the Saab go.. I'm on me bottom and, truth be told, this is a luxury I can ill afford (although if it doesn't sell I won't be too unhappy
So this is it..
114k with Saab history up to 80k, MoT until May 2017.
2 working keys and the original dealers keykeyfob.
Manual, a/c, leccy windows, heated, mostly leather, seats,
Since I got it a few months ago it's had:
All new bulbs, back and front
Rear pads and discs
Poly-bushed the gearbox torque rod
o/s/f wheel bearing (garage fitted)
All vacuum hoses replaced with silicon
EVAP pipework replaced
Uprated PCV fitted
Sump dropped, strainer and sump cleaned.
2 oil changes, 2 spark plug changes
Coolant and power steering fluids changed
Fuel, air and pollen filters changed
A/c recharged, nice and chilly (ready for that blistering heatwave Winter). The ACC does throw 2 error codes, 11 & 21, but seems to work just fine so I'm at a loss there.
4 new Avon tyres around 600 miles ago
New, genuine, DI cassette about the same time as the tyres (still have the old one that, while it does occasionally kick up an error, still works)
Stage 1 noobtune.
White LED courtesy lights and green LED switches
Uprated front door speakers and modded the AS2 head unit for AUX input (plugs front and rear)
I've done some cosmetics under the bonnet, painted the large engine mount black and fitted black oil, washer bottle and coolant caps.
I can't see any rust on the bodywork but there are a couple of dents and some scratches and the lower lip on the front bumper has a crack.
I'll take it for an inside and out clean before it's collected.
The windscreen has a crack and a 'bullethole' in it.. the bullethole was treated and the crack hasn't worsened since I bought the car (and done a thousand-ish miles).
There is a small oil leak, loses very little and looks to be from the crank seal..
The cruise switch behind the clutch is plugged in but not behind the clutch. I broke the tabs off it removing it and haven't sourced another yet.
Spare rocker cover (and gaskets), master cylinder, horseshoe mount, SID (missing pixels - the one that's fitted is 100%). New handbrake shoes and sensor (the one round the back that is prone to leaking but doesn't appear to be (leaking)) ready to fit.
I'll sell, and listen to offers close to the asking price, or consider a swap (no cash top up available) for a decent Corsa C or maybe a SWB truck. Small jobs I can sort but I'm not looking for another project/hobby.
Everything I've been through with it is in the project thread viewtopic.php?f=35&t=169080
It very recently did a near 300-mile round trip to Nottingham and didn't miss a beat.
