Hi All
I am a long in the tooth 900 owner, but new to the V4 range. I recently bought a Saab 96 1974 V4 1500, which needed a lot of fettling. Currently my major issue is a sticking throttle pedal. I have tried lubing all the joints and pivots and cable but it almost feels like its in the c arb itself..
Basically if i rev the car the pedal often (not always) gets stuck halfway down. I removed the air box and tried looking at the action through the open door whilst accelerating as currently flying solo. The pedal returns only 50% of the time without me having to flick it back up with my toe end, which is tiresome at best.
The carb is the old FoMoCo which runs the old girl well enough at my age.
Any thoughts from the wise please?
Cheers Mark
