Hi all, I have a classic 900 gearbox which needs a repair, it's lost 4th but all other gears are ok,
it packed up on the way back from the mot station some years ago, so I know all remaining
forward gears and reverse are fine, type 7 primarys,
I also have the internals from a second box which had a problem with reverse, there's no case
just all the internals, but no primary gears, the idea was to fix the first box using the bits from the internals from
the second box, so this project is all sitting in my garage, and I've reached a conclusion that
I'm never going to do it, do to lack of time, and quite frankly it looks a bit beyond my skill set,
These boxes are getting expensive now, so it's probably worth doing, if you have the knowledge
experience and skill set,
so if anyone fancys a challange please do get in touch,
Asking £500,ono.
Cheers Bob.
